Do I have Depression?Clinical depression is not to be taken likely, it can develop over years and/or be triggered by particular events.

Here we want to help you think or start to think about depression to better educate ones self to make better decisions.  Remember, only your prescriber can make these judgments as to 'if' you have clinical depression.

  • Persistent sad, anxious, or “empty” feelings
  • Feelings of hopelessness and/or pessimism
  • Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and/or helplessness
  • Irritability, restlessness
  • Loss of interest in activities or hobbies once pleasurable, including sex
  • Fatigue and decreased energy
  • Difficulty concentrating, remembering details, and making decisions
  • Insomnia, early-morning wakefulness, or excessive sleeping
  • Overeating, or appetite loss
  • Thoughts of suicide, suicide attempts
  • Persistent aches or pains, headaches, cramps, or digestive problems that do not ease even with treatment

Please note, that we all have feelings that are not optimal at times.  When an individual experiences several of these feelings, thoughts, symptioms for two weeks or more, it may be a signal of depression.

The goal here should be to find the right resources & people to help in understanding a particular situation.  This is where having the right tools / people matters.
